  • I Do Foundation
I've been catching up with some of my bridal research - scouring the tons of magazines I get throughout the year. I found a nice tidbit in the Editor's Letter of the Brides March/April 2006 issue about the I Do Foundation. (Yeah I'm a little behind in my reading!)

"If you're feeling a charitable urge but aren't sure what to do about it, you might start by checking out the I Do Foundation, idofoundation.org. One of this nonprofit organization's most popular features is its gift registry. You sign up with one of the participating retail establishments (the list includes such well-known emporiums as Home Depot, Macy's, Amazon.com, and Target), or one of their travel partners, like Sandals Resorts. Guests visiting your registry learn that a percentage of every gift they purchase goes to the charity of your choice. The donation comes from the store, so there's no additional cost to you or your guests. You can get the gifts you want and brighten someone else's world, too. I heart the I Do Foundation! What a great way to begin a marriage!"

  • I met Gina quite some time ago and we recently did a family photo shoot at the Folsom Powerhouse Park. Just in time for the holidays. They even brought their dog Sierra for the family photos. I love it when families can joke around and make each other laugh especially during a photo shoot. We even did the big "group hug!"

  • The Tucker family is new to our Treasured Moments program. We were able to get over to their home right at the 4 week point to photograph Tanner. Tanner was such a pleasure to photograph. For such a young baby, he was wide eyed looking at the camera with remarkable attention.

  • Sacramento Wedding Photographer Kim and Daniel were married October 21, 2006 in Modesto, California. We started taking photos at her childhood home in Manteca. Kim studied ballet for years and had an armoire full of broken down slippers. She slipped a pair on so we could take a quick photo with her dress before heading over to the Mediterranean style restaurant to meet up with the guys.

After the ceremony, we trekked across the street from theSacramento wedding photos restaurant into the surrounding orchards, which gave us a beautiful backdrop for our outdoor wedding day photos. Once again, the timing was just right for that beautiful sunset light. Gorgeous!
