This last Friday I crashed Jen's work day with the girls. Carie always has her skates in he car, and I thought it'd be a different way for our Memory Journalists team to practice movement. Jen, Jas, and I had a blast chasing Carie in the streets. She wore me out!
The Memory Journalists photographed Melanie and Troy's wedding in Jackson, California. The vacation rental home used to be bed and breakfast, now a great place for a wedding. I had Jasmine and Kirsten with me to help with the multi angles.
Melanie's grandmother officiated the wedding vows.
Melanie chose bright summer yellow as her colors and even created the bouquets herself! Using my favorite Gerbera Daisies!!!
After the ceremony, we were able to spend some good quality time with Troy and Melanie.
I think this might just be my favorite photo of the entire day.
On a side note: I learned that just 2 days after their wedding, and on their honeymoon, Troy fell down a 30 ft cliff in Costa Rica, breaking ribs and his arm. After being in the local hospital for a few days, and pins in his arm, he is now home and healing. I'm glad that he'll have these photos to remember his wedding day as he's working through a bit of short term memory loss. We'll be thinking good and healing thoughts for you Troy!
The grounds had so many great features to use for photos. The bridge was fantastic as it was in the midst of bunch of trees.
And the old barn structure was a great backdrop. Be sure to click here or the below image to start the slideshow. Enjoy!
Shawna and Jeremy's wedding day couldn't have been more perfect! We photographed their day at Wine and Roses in Lodi, California last week. Here's just a sneak peak of the fun-ness we had with their photos!
