  • Last week I met up with Jill and Kevin at Scott's Seafood by the river for their engagement photos. Jill and I sat in the mighty cold bar and sipped on a drink while we waited for Kevin to arrive. His flight earlier in the day had been cancelled, and he came straight from the airport to meet us for our date night session.

  • Good thing the AC worked so well inside, because outside seemed like the hottest day of the week....until this week.

  • We headed outside just before the golden hour.

  • I just love this bridge that takes you to the water's edge. The leading lines are my favorite.

  • And here the lines make for a great frame.

  • Lisa and Joe recently brought Eli into this world. I was excited to take photos of him while he was considered newborn since they grow so fast!

  • Joe is a wine maker and I couldn't resist using the wine box as a little bed prop.

  • The Memory Journalists had the pleasure of photographing Graham's baptism and capturing some family photos. This little guy was such a good baby during his christening. I was amazed at all the love that was shared that Sunday. What a very special day for sweet Graham and his family.

  • Last month, Isabel and I had the pleasure of photographing Robyn and Guido's San Francisco wedding. Isabel and I arrived early in order to grab a bite to eat at my favorite burger joint at the Embarcadero (in case you are wondering it's Gott's Roadside). We meandered a little bit throughout the Farmer's market. Midday in July in the city is the best weather, making our walk back to the Omni Hotel a pleasurable warm-up to meeting the wedding party in their rooms for getting ready photos. Robyn's dress was a perfect match for her.

We were lucky enough to work with some fabulous vendors, making it a great team effort for a wonderful wedding.

  • San Francisco Wedding

  • This just might be one of my favorite inanimate photos I've taken in quite some time. Getting the necklace to stay put on Robyn's shoe was no small feat! (I thought about saying "no small feet" to see if anyone caught the pun....but figured that was too corny!)

  • San Francisco Wedding

  • As Robyn started the process of getting dressed, you could tell she was both super excited and happy, and even a bit nervous.

  • San Francisco Wedding

  • It's crazy how window light can make for the best photos. The ones above as well as the ones below both in the same location, but look so different. I especially like the silhouette with Robyn and her two sister-in-laws.

  • San Francisco Wedding

  • While I rode with the girls in their limo to the church, Isabel headed to the guy's suite to spend some time with them getting ready.

  • San Francisco Wedding

  • 2Nite vodka made an appearance in the guys room (and in the limo) as they toasted Guido.

  • San Francisco Wedding

  • Robyn's nieces and nephews played the special role of ring bearer and flower kids. They were adorable!

  • San Francisco Wedding

  • I know I already posted this on Facebook, but I love the look of Robyn focusing on Guido as she walked up the aisle.

  • San Francisco Wedding

  • Isabel captured Sandra, Robyn's mom, standing with her as she gave Robyn away, and I love that Guido's mom is standing too watching this pair.

  • San Francisco Wedding

  • Since Isabel was up front and center, it allowed me to play more of the 2nd photographer role and I was the lucky one to be in the balcony.

  • San Francisco Wedding

  • Right after the ceremony and family photos, we stole the newlyweds away for some photos around the City. The wedding party waited in the limo for us while we snapped just a few photos leaving the church.

  • San Francisco Wedding

  • We headed to the marina pier.

  • San Francisco Wedding

  • Love the randomness of this photo. (awesome photo Izzy!)

  • San Francisco Wedding

  • Great smiles, don't you think?

  • San Francisco Wedding

  • The bridge was almost fogged in; we could barely see it in the background.

  • San Francisco Wedding

  • Meanwhile, back at the reception site, Teresa was busy taking detail shots before the guests arrived for cocktail hour.

  • San Francisco Wedding

  • Katie, from Ambience Floral, did an amazing job with the flowers.

  • San Francisco Wedding

  • The happy couple made their entrance to a room filled with applause.

  • San Francisco Wedding

  • The lighting by Supernatural Soundz Entertainment made the room look spectacular.

  • San Francisco Wedding

  • We snuck out for a last few photos of just the bride and groom. One L, being in the financial district, and on a weekend, made for pretty empty streets.

  • The cake, along with the lighting, made for some more cool photos. If there was one thing I could tell more couples to spend money on, it would be lighting!

  • San Francisco Wedding

  • The mic was passed amongst the wedding party, giving turns between laughter and tears.

  • San Francisco Wedding

  • We had such a good time photographing this wedding. Thank you both, Robyn and Guido, for allowing us to be a part of your special day.

Be sure to watch the extended sneak peak slideshow of Robyn and Guido's wedding. Just click the below image. There is sound so be sure to turn up your volume. Enjoy!
